The Australian Journal of Management (AJM) is an international peer-reviewed journal that publishes research in accounting, applied economics, finance, industrial relations, political science, psychology, statistics and other disciplines in relation to their application to management. The journal is published by SAGE Publications in association with the Australian School of Business.

The journal was founded in 1976 by the Australian Graduate School of Management [1]. The journal's first and founding editor was Ray Ball.
The Australian Journal of Management is abstracted and indexed in SCOPUS, the International Bibliography of the Social Sciences (IBSS), and the Social Sciences Citation Index (SSCI). According to the Journal Citation Reports, in 2010 the journal's Impact Factor was 0.469, with a ranking of 121 of 140 journals in the 'Management' category.

In September 1995 the Australian Vice-Chancellors' Committee awarded a grant to a research team to study reader acceptance of an online version. The result was the creation of a freely available electronic archive of the AJM journal [1].
